Foxfest 2026 - Quantum Leap

Foxfest is our annual all-staff offsite and an opportunity for us to come together as a team, be inspired and prepare for the future. This year's theme was Quantum Leap - architecting the future sport experience. Held at The Field at Easts Rugby, the focus of the day was encouraging our staff to think differently about how we can open up new opportunities for advertisers around our extensive sport offering.

This event is produced entirely with internal resources which meant a huge level of individual ownership of the event for the small team that leads this initiative. I was heavily involved in the ideation of the days activities as well as overseeing the production of all graphics, presentations, event branding and reels.

For our staff, it was a day of thought provoking keynotes from our own CEO, special guest speakers as well as an industry panel. We injected opportunity for fun and social connection with a friendly soccer match on the field followed by unstructured fun time including a puppy play pen, and interior design masterclass with Selling Houses Australia host Wendy Moore, a Roblox gaming experience and arts and crafts. We conducted a group pitch activity hoping to capture the inspiration and innovative spirit of the day with business ideas to propel our business forward. And we finished the formalities with a fun “Hot Ones” challenge inspired by the internet series of the same name, followed by celebrating our staff with our Oscars themed awards ceremony - The Foxscars. Finally, staff had a chance to unwind, connect and socialise over drinks and canapes as the sun went down over the field.

The day was met with enthusiasm and engagement - a testament to the collaborative and inclusive culture at Foxtel Media which this event also nurtures.
